During the course of his life in addition to being a devoted husband and loving father, Mike has been a: newspaper delivery boy, laborer, musician, marketer, salesman, trainer, manager, fighter, preacher, business owner, community volunteer, and politician. Along the way he has learned a bunch!  He is passionate about speaking to diverse audiences, dedicated to infusing an understanding and appreciation of how important their dreams are in influencing the development of our communities.  In his presentations he will give those in attendance specific steps and ways to make an immediate difference in their lives.

His most requested presentation deals specifically with the pursuit of dreams and the powerful impact of that pursuit. The majority of this information is culled from Mike’s role as a client relationship manager for Kadrmas, Lee & Jackson, a large regional civil engineering firm, his annual interacting with attendees of Marketplace of Ideas and Marketplace for Kids, and from his responsibilities serving as a city commissioner. (Council member--for those who reside in a community with a council form of government.) Mike’s presentations provide life lessons about civics, turning dreams into goals, and working together to build communities by developing good habits, goal setting, maximizing strengths, and staying focused. He discusses how managing just one commodity impacts virtually all decisions we make. Initially this presentation was specifically developed for and directed towards middle school through high school age students. By request, it has been adapted for community leaders and other adult settings.
