![]() The 21st Annual Marketplace of Ideas will be held Monday and Tuesday, September 27-28, 2010. This economic development showcase and forum offers classes, “how-to” demonstrations, and exhibits focused on connecting great ideas and great people! Marketplace provides the tools, information, practical advice and connections necessary for small and start-up businesses and community leaders seeking to encourage new business growth. Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
Classroom/Activities Monitor: Be the eyes and ears during Marketplace classes and activities such as the Marketplace Invention Showcase and Contest and the “Flavors of Marketplace” Showcase and Contest; help distribute handouts, observe classes and complete evaluations.
Guide: Help people with directions and answer their questions. Exhibit Hall Monitor: Assist with set-up of the exhibit hall floor. Assist exhibitors with move-in. Walk the floor during exhibit hall hours to answer questions and help with directions. Registration: Assist participants in the registration process. Answer their questions and give directions. Volunteer Times are Available
