| Bismarck to Host Marketplace 2009 - May 27, 2008 |
Bismarck – Senator Kent Conrad and Agriculture Commissioner Roger Johnson today announced that Marketplace for Entrepreneurs will return to Bismarck in 2009 to mark the 20th anniversary of North Dakota’s largest and longest-running economic development conference.
“We are very excited to be invited back to Bismarck — my home town,” Senator Conrad said.
“While we will be in our 20th year, the mission of Marketplace remains
the same – to increase economic opportunity for all North Dakota.”
Marketplace is North Dakota’s premiere economic development effort. The
event brings together aspiring entrepreneurs, universities, foundations
and community and business leaders to exchange ideas, discuss the
latest innovations and share skills and technology.
